Pilates Institute Terms and Conditions

  1. Receipt of a deposit and signed course registration form renders students liable for payment of their full coursefees, subject to the limitations contained under cancellation below.
  2. Full course fees are payable regardless of whether the student completes the course, or is successful.
  3. Students who are not up to date with payments will not be eligible to attend workshops or examinations.
  4. The stated deposit books your place with the balance to be paid no later than 30 days prior to your first chosen training date. Any manual and study video that may need to be posted out will only be dispatched once full payment is received. Late bookings/payments may result in materials being issued on the first day of training and it is the responsibility of the candidate to familiarise themselves with these materials.
  5. Course materials will be despatched by recorded delivery post within 7 working days of full payment being received. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure collection from the Postal Service if delivery to the given address is not possible.
  6. If cancellation is received within 21 days from the date of the study pack being despatched then full refund less course deposit will be received by the student. No refunds will be given after this period. You are required to return all study materials in an 'as new' condition if cancelling - no refunds will be despatched until any/all issued materials are received. Cancellations of individual dates received less than 14 days prior to stated dates will incur penalty fees of £75
  7. You must complete all sections of the courses and achieve a successful pass mark in both the written and practical assessments along with case study work required. No certificates will be issued until all sections of any given course have been successfully completed to the satisfaction of the Pilates Institute. This does not affect certificates issued by OCR unless outstanding payments exist.
  8. If the Pilates Institute is for any reason unable to complete all elements of training on the scheduled timetable all reasonable attempts will be made to provide the candidate with supplementary training solutions. The candidate will be asked to confirm acceptance of these provisions as final resolution in writing.
  9. Practical assessment re-sits available on a first come first served basis. Re-sit fees range from £35.00 to £75.00 for different courses and are payable on re-booking.
  10. Students have 1 (one) year to successfully complete any Individual training programme. Extension to this period is on an individual review basis and the Pilates Institute is under no obligation to grant such requests.
  11. All bookings must be placed in writing using the booking form. No place can be guaranteed until booking form or payment is received. The booking form and full payment must be received before attendance on any part of a training programme will be granted.
  12. All travel and accommodation expense and loss of earnings resulting from the attendance on a Pilates Institute event are the full responsibility of the candidate. The Pilates Institute under no circumstances accepts any liability for these costs.

The company shall notify the students of such changes within a reasonable time from the prospective date of the course. The Pilates Institute shall not be held liable for any loss off earnings or travel and accommodation expenses as a result of such changes.
  14. Cancellations caused by circumstances outside of our control such as weather, travel issues, strikes or emergency circumstances at one of our venues, cannot be held as the responsibility of the Pilates Institute. Pilates Institute will make all attempts possible to respond to such circumstances on an individual basis to achieve a mutually satisfactory resolution.
  15. The Pilates Institute reserves the right to eject any candidate from a course after an initial verbal warning with no obligation to reimburse any course fees paid by the student. In such instances all reasonable attempts will be made to assist in the completion of the candidates training programme depending on the nature of the incident/s.
